Riadh Zine is the Chairman and CEO of Akumin. Mr. Zine founded Akumin in late 2014 and under his leadership, Akumin has grown from $25 million of revenues to more than $750 million of revenues and has become the second-largest radiology and oncology service provider to US hospitals. Prior to founding Akumin, Mr. Zine was a Managing Director in Global Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, providing strategic advice and executing equity and debt financings as well as M&A transactions to large corporations and private equity firms across various industries. He began his career at Royal Bank of Canada where he worked on several strategic projects. Mr. Zine is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization.

Krishna Kumar has valuable experience and exceptional insight into the radiology space, having served as Senior Vice President & Business Leader – Precision Diagnosis at Philips North America from March 2019 to June 2023. Prior to this role, he led global businesses in Pathology, Oncology and Neuro at Philips based in Amsterdam, Netherlands from 2015-2019 and prior thereto was the CEO of Philips India. Before joining Philips, Mr. Kumar served in leadership roles across the US, Japan, China and India with Johnson & Johnson where he was instrumental in building and scaling up many high growth businesses with innovative go-to-market strategies.

David Kretschmer is a seasoned finance executive specializing in strategy and transformations. Before joining Akumin, he served in various financial management and corporate finance roles, including as interim CFO and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Transformation at Surgery Partners, Inc. Previously, Mr. Kretschmer held the positions of Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and CIO at Anthem, Inc., a health insurance provider with over $130 billion in revenues. In both roles, he was instrumental in executing successful business transformations.

Adam McIntosh, MD

EVP & Chief Services Officer

Before joining Akumin, Adam McIntosh served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and Growth Strategy at Radiology Partners, a national practice with 2,800+ radiologists. He oversaw the Southwest region revenue cycle function and national patient billing, leading a successful large-scale transformation. Additionally, Dr. McIntosh formed and managed 15 regional growth teams, contributing to substantial year-over-year client growth. Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company, offering strategic guidance to large clients.
