Brittni M. Usera, MD, is a radiation oncologist at our Reno cancer treatment center.

Dr. Usera graduated Magna cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, and she received her medical doctorate from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada.  She completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, and her residency in radiation oncology at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Usera has been awarded numerous honors, has authored several articles, and has given 15 oral and poster presentations.  She has been active in several professional societies and organizations and is currently a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), and the Society for Women in Radiation Oncology (SWRO), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American College of Physicians (ACP).

In her spare time, Dr. Usera enjoys marathon running and ultra running (she is an Ironman finisher), skiing, cycling, kayaking, traveling, and baking protein pastries.
