With space already dedicated to other services within Sutter Health’s newly opened medical office building, the Akumin AXIS relocatable PET/CT clinic integrated seamlessly into the existing campus, providing a fast, flexible way to expand imaging capacity without requiring a permanent buildout or additional construction. It quickly began improving access to care through:

• Reduced referral backlogs and faster appointment availability
• Significant patient throughput improvement compared to the previous system
• Average scan times reduced from 35 minutes to 15 minutes
