Henry Howe

Chief Executive Officer

Henry brings extensive leadership experience in healthcare services, strategy, and finance. Most recently, he served as Interim CEO and Chief Financial Officer at Envision Healthcare Corporation, a leading national medical group focused on hospital-based specialties. Prior to this, he held several senior roles at Bridgewater Associates, including Head of Planning, and spent six years at Bain & Company advising clients on strategic and operational matters. Henry began his career at Bank One. He holds an MBA with distinction from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics with honors from Georgetown University.
Dr. Nasir Siddiqui, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Siddiqui is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with over 15 years of experience driving innovation in imaging, technology, and healthcare operations. He previously served as Chairman of Radiology at Duly Health and Care and as a Senior Advisor at Beaconhouse Capital Management. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Learner’s Digest International, a leading provider of continuing medical education. Trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Northwestern University, Dr. Siddiqui also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is known for leveraging data, AI, and workflow optimization to align imaging services with enterprise goals—enhancing access, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Alex has over 15 years of healthcare leadership experience focused on operations, growth, and joint ventures. Before joining Akumin, he was Senior Vice President of Operations at Surgery Partners where his responsibilities spanned leadership for 35 joint venture surgical facilities and 25 clinic locations. Alex also led the integration of a multi-site acquisition, launched several de novo facilities, and built teams and processes to support newly formed health system partnerships. Previously, Alex held several progressive operational leadership roles at Surgical Care Affiliates. He holds an MBA and MHA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University.

President, Mobile & Oncology

Paul brings over 20 years of global supply chain leadership experience specializing in managed transportation and strategic operations. He most recently served as President of Managed and Dedicated Transportation at RXO and led its last mile division. He also held leadership roles at XPO Logistics, Ryder, and PepsiCo, developing complex supply chain solutions with a customer-centered approach. Paul serves on the executive advisory board for Osa Commerce and was named a 2023 “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. He holds a degree from the University of Texas at Austin and executive certifications from Northwestern and UNT.

Chief Operating Officer, Mobile & Oncology

Adam McIntosh, MD, is Akumin’s Chief Operating Officer, Mobile & Oncology. He oversees operations, execution, and growth for the Mobile & Oncology division, with a focus on clinical performance and partner success. Before joining Akumin, he was a Vice President at Radiology Partners overseeing various functions in operations, strategy, and growth. Earlier in his career, he was a manager at McKinsey & Company, leading client engagements in advising healthcare organizations on operational improvements and transformations. Adam earned his Medical Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Greg oversees all growth and business development initiatives at Akumin. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Philips, leading a $1.7 billion Patient Monitoring division. There, he orchestrated a comprehensive business transformation from capital sales to software subscriptions. Before Philips, Greg spent 20 years at GE Healthcare in various roles, including sales, marketing, product management, and business development. He holds a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, where he continues to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.

Victoria has over 20 years of financial leadership experience across healthcare, consulting, travel, and manufacturing. She most recently served as CFO at Dental Care Alliance, bringing a technology-driven approach to care delivery. She was previously SVP of Finance and Accounting at North American Partners in Anesthesia and held CFO roles at American Anesthesiology and Mednax. Victoria is a strategically minded and operationally focused CFO with deep expertise in healthcare, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide transformation across complex, multi-site organizations. Victoria holds a finance degree and MBA from Florida International University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian.

Ash possesses extensive expertise in Healthcare, Operational Excellence, Revenue Cycle Management, and building high-performing teams. Most recently, he served as President, Revenue Operations & EVP Tech Enablement at Envision Healthcare. Before that, he spent nearly nine years at Fresenius Medical Care, concluding as Chief Revenue Officer & SVP Finance. Ash began his career with American Express, where he advanced over 15 years to Vice President, Finance. He holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Maureen has over 25 years of experience in IT systems, strategy, governance and optimization. She is a strong believer in the power of technology and the profound impact it can have on businesses during critical periods of growth and change. Most recently she served as CIO for Bright Health. Prior to that, Maureen served as Vice President of Corporate Systems, IT Architecture and Development at Marriott International. Additionally, she has held executive leadership roles in technology at MedStar Health and Houston Methodist. Maureen holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts.

Bob Swan brings extensive expertise in building high-performing HR organizations and developing leaders across the Retail and Healthcare sectors. Before joining us, Bob served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Prism Vision Group from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, he held CHRO roles at PetVet Care Centers, Focus Brands, and Susser Holdings, where he played a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and talent strategies. Bob’s career began with a remarkable 27-year tenure at JC Penney, where he took on roles of increasing responsibility, shaping his deep knowledge and leadership in human resources.

Chandra Westergaard brings her extensive legal expertise to Akumin following her role at Envision Healthcare, where she most recently served as Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Chief Litigation Counsel. Previously, she served as a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright and Senior Counsel at Perkins Coie. Chandra also spent more than six years at DaVita as Assistant General Counsel, leading the Office of Special Counsel, and began her legal career in the healthcare group at Crowell & Moring. She received a Juris Doctorate from the Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from McDaniel College.

Rajiv joins Akumin from Stonepeak where he served as a Vice President. Prior to Stonepeak, Rajiv worked in investment banking at Barclays, where he focused on M&A advisory and leveraged buyout transactions. Rajiv earned a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.

Aytekin Oto, MD, MBA

Aytekin Oto

MD, MBA

Dr. Aytekin Oto is Professor of Radiology and Surgery, Dean for Clinical Affairs, head of the Faculty Practice Plan and Chief Physician at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Oto has a wide range of experience and expertise in the imaging of diseases affecting abdomen and pelvis. His research interest focus is development and clinical application of novel prostate MRI acquisition and interpretation so as to facilitate and improve the efficiency of prostate cancer and develop image guided prostate therapy options for the appropriate patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. His research has resulted in more than 250 publications and over 150 scientific exhibits at national and international meetings.

His group has developed new quantitative MR acquisition and interpretation techniques such Hybrid Multi-dimensional MRI and tested MR guided therapy methods such as laser and focused ultrasound ablation in clinical and pre-clinical studies.

He has several industry, foundation and NIH grants and serves at the Editorial Board of Radiology. Dr. Oto received numerous awards including AIMBE fellowship, Distinguished Investigator Award, RSNA honored educator award and Distinguished Senior Clinician Award. Dr. Oto earned his medical degree and completed residency at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Vijay Rao, MD, FACR

Vijay Rao

MD, FACR

Vijay M. Rao, MD, is the David C. Levin Professor and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Radiology and Imaging at Jefferson Health in Philadelphia. She chaired the Radiology Department at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University from 2002 to 2022.

Dr. Rao is a global leader in radiology, renowned for her expertise in head and neck imaging and health services research. She has authored over 230 peer-reviewed articles, a textbook on MRI and CT of the head and neck, and delivered 300 presentations at national and international meetings. Her work spans head and neck imaging, imaging trends, radiology business, and leadership.

A graduate of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, she completed her radiology residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 1978, where she remained on faculty. As Jefferson’s first female clinical department chair, she expanded radiology services from 3 to 17 hospitals, increasing imaging volume from 250,000 to over 1.8 million studies. She established a successful outpatient imaging joint venture and grew the radiologist workforce to nearly 175.

Dr. Rao has served as President of RSNA, ASHNR, APDR, AAWR and Chair of the RSNA R&E Foundation Board. She has received numerous honors, including gold medals from RSNA, AUR, ASHNR, and the AAWR Marie Curie Award.
