
Dr. Darlene DaCosta is a board-certified radiologist with subspecialty training in women’s imaging and over two decades of clinical experience in breast and general radiology. She received her medical degree from the State University of Pará in Brazil and completed her diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in women’s imaging at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. Dr. DaCosta has practiced across a variety of clinical settings, including hospital-based and outpatient imaging centers, and has served as both a partner and consultant with multiple radiology groups. Her clinical expertise includes breast ultrasound, mammography, MRI, and interventional breast procedures. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has received awards from leading radiological societies for her contributions to breast imaging education and research.
