About Our Silverlake Center

Akumin Silverlake is accredited by the American College of Radiology and has been offering affordable outpatient imaging services to the area for many years. The spacious and well-appointed 5,000 sq. foot center is located at 179th street building C.  Ample onsite parking is available and we accept patients for X-rays on a walk-in basis.

Our friendly and dedicated staff work diligently to ensure your imaging experience is as comfortable and efficient as possible while providing you and your referring physician with the most detailed images and reports to assist in your care plan.

Full list of procedures: High-field 1.5T MRI, CT, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry (DEXA), and 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography.*

Additional exams offered at this location: Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA), Electrocardiography (EKG), and Echocardiography.*

I am writing to recognize and thank Christopher Morris, the amazing technician who did my recent MRIs. I never usually write a survey or comment, but I have had several MRIs in the last years and I have never had such a good experience with getting the test done. He kept me informed throughout the test and truly made a difference in how comfortable I felt, he also allowed me to pick the right music to make me comfortable. Thank you!

I visited the Silverlakes facility and was pleasantly greeted and quickly attended by the front desk staff by Conny and Jennifer. The office manager was able to accommodate me to get my exams done on the same day. The staff was pleasant and friendly throughout the entire experience procedure.
