About Our Schaumburg Center

Akumin’s Schaumburg facility is conveniently located between I 90 and E Algonquin Rd at Walden Office Square, near the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. Since 2009, we have proudly provided affordable outpatient imaging services to the local community.

Patients and referring physicians alike benefit from our streamlined service, including report sharing software that supports accurate results and faster turnaround times. Our advanced equipment features a 1.5T Wide-bore MRI scanner with a larger opening than traditional closed MRI systems. The wider design creates a more spacious feel, helping reduce anxiety and improve comfort for patients, especially those who may feel claustrophobic during an exam.

Open six days a week, our knowledgeable and friendly Team Members are here to assist with appointment scheduling, insurance billing, and authorization support.
