MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive diagnostic technique that uses powerful magnets and radiofrequency waves to produce detailed images of internal structures. MRI is commonly used to evaluate the brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues, helping diagnose neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain.

At our Trinity location, we offer 1.5T high-field MRI, delivering exceptional image clarity and reliable diagnostic insights for a wide range of conditions.

CT Scan (Computed Tomography)

CT imaging combines advanced X-ray technology with computer processing to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. This fast and effective exam is frequently used to evaluate trauma, detect infections, and identify internal abnormalities.

At Akumin Trinity, CT scans are performed using modern equipment designed for both speed and precision, allowing physicians to diagnose urgent conditions quickly and accurately.

X-Ray (Walk-In Available)

Digital X-ray is a fast and widely used imaging method for evaluating bones, lungs, and other internal structures. It helps diagnose fractures, infections, and various medical conditions with minimal radiation exposure.

We offer walk-in X-ray services at our Trinity location, providing convenient access to same-day imaging without the need for a scheduled appointment

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to generate real-time images of organs and soft tissues. This safe, radiation-free imaging method is commonly used for abdominal, vascular, and specialized diagnostic evaluations.

Our Trinity center offers a range of ultrasound services performed by skilled technologists focused on patient comfort and accuracy.

Mammography (3D Mammography Available)

Mammography is an essential screening tool for the early detection of breast cancer. At Akumin Trinity, we provide advanced 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), which captures detailed layered images of breast tissue for improved accuracy.

This advanced technology enhances early detection while reducing the need for follow-up imaging, supporting patient confidence and proactive breast health screening.
