About Our Fort Lauderdale Center

Located on the corner of Federal Highway and Florananda, across the street from the Macy’s Furniture Gallery, Akumin’s Fort Lauderdale standalone facility offers onsite parking with wheelchair accessibility.

We provide affordable outpatient imaging services in a comfortable environment with professional and knowledgeable staff, an on-site radiologist, prompt scheduling, and fast report turnaround times.

 This location is open in the evening and on Saturdays for your convenience.  Walk-in appointments for X-rays are accepted. All other exams are by appointment only.

I want to advise that my experience with Leslie Caruso was very comforting because of her kindness and expertise administering my MRI. I had no idea what an MRI entailed - the constant banging and other loud noises etc. Leslie would announce the duration of whatever noise "torture" came next and I got through the whole experience without having to squeeze the "panic ball" She is a valuable and expert Technician and very kind.
