About Our Port Charlotte Center

Akumin’s Port Charlotte location has been open for more than 15 years. Centrally located in Port Charlotte, the facility is the area’s only full-service outpatient imaging center. It serves patients from Charlotte, Lee, Collier and Sarasota Counties. The Port Charlotte location is open Monday through Saturday.

Port Charlotte has a very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly staff that is always willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of its patients and their referring physicians. All of Port Charlotte’s technologists are accredited and professional in their specific modalities. This location also has onsite radiologists. Port Charlotte is a multi-modality center offering MRI (1.5T and 3T), CT, PET/CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Bone Density, and 3D Mammography. The center also provides interventional radiology.

We take all insurance plans and we have very competitive self-pay rates. Akumin offers payment plans and accepts Care Credit for patient convenience. Akumin can obtain authorization from most insurance carriers and schedule your patients in a timely manner as well as accommodate STAT studies.
