Your Treatment Options At Columbus CyberKnife

The Columbus CyberKnife staff is committed to offering leading-edge SRS and SBRT cancer treatments.

Cancerous tumors in the brain, spine, lung, liver, and other parts of the body are treated with the highly precise and targeted radiation therapies known as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).

When using SRS or  SBRT, high radiation doses are delivered directly to the tumor, with the least amount of radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. Compared to conventional radiation therapy, this may lead to fewer side effects and a quicker recovery.

Both SRS and SBRT are non-invasive treatments that are routinely completed in a few number of sessions, with each session taking just a few minutes. Patients can go home the same day because these therapies are given on an outpatient basis.

Our team of skilled radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists is committed to offering our patients individualized and thorough care. Modern technologies and careful treatment planning are used to achieve the highest level of accuracy and precision.

If you or a loved one has been identified with a malignant tumor or condition requiring radiation therapy, we invite you to get in touch with us to arrange a consultation with a member of our team.  Together, we can talk about your treatment options and decide whether SRS or SBRT could be the best option for you. We look forward to assisting you on your road to recovery.
