About Our Clearwater Center

Akumin Clearwater location has been open in this area for over 12 years. It is centrally located in Pinellas County, providing service to patients across Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. The Clearwater location is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm with Saturdays and extended evening hours by appointment.

Clearwater has a very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly staff that is always willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of its patients as well as physician offices. All of Clearwater’s technologists are accredited and professional in their specific modalities. This location also has an onsite radiologist. Clearwater is a full-service center offering MRI, CT, PET/CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Bone Density, 3D Mammography, Biopsy, Nuclear Medicine and interventional radiology.

We take all insurance plans and we have very competitive self-pay rates. Akumin offers payment plans and accepts Care Credit for patient convenience. Akumin will obtain authorization from most insurance carriers and schedule your patients in a timely manner as well as accommodate STAT studies.
